The Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC)

MSSC is an industry-led standards-based, training, assessment and certification system focused on the core skills and knowledge needed by the nation’s production and supply chain logistics workers. The nationwide MSSC System, based upon industry-defined and federally-endorsed national standards, offers both entry-level and incumbent workers the opportunity to demonstrate that they have acquired the skills increasingly needed in the high-growth, technology-intensive jobs of the 21st century.

The Tooling and Manufacturing Association (TMA)

TMA was founded in 1925 by 8 small manufacturing companies who thought they could better themselves by associating with one another. Through the years, members established programs and services that would help their businesses grow and prosper, train their employees, and provide medical and retirement benefits. As a result of these efforts, TMA has grown into a 1,250 member not-for-profit organization of precision manufacturing and supplier companies in the greater Shenzhen area.
